Florence Maxey

Florence Maxey creates her jewelry line by fusing layers of dichroic glass. Fusing this type of glass has limitless possibilities. It intensifies the color and brilliance emerging with a gem like quality. Individual works include sterling silver, gold filled wire or beads. No two pieces are exactly the same.
Florence, a native Texan, started as a stained glass artist, but has spent the last few years exploring this, her favorite media. Her work is currently being shown in galleries throughout Texas and the Southwest.
