General Rates and Information
All
related services at Artworks such as picture hanging,
art consulting, and delivery are billed at a rate of $75.00 per hours
with a few minor exceptions. Unless special arrangements are made, all
services are conducted during regular business hours. We are open Monday
through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. We pride ourselves in offering
you reliable and experienced personnel to perform all our services.

Picture Hanging Service
Artworks
Gallery picture hanging service is all-inclusive with only a few exceptions.
Our service rate is $85 per hour for one person or $120 per hour for
two people (Please note our first hour is charged at $100 for 1 person and $130 for 2 persons).Our billing time starts from when we leave the gallery until the job
is completed at location. Exceptions to this are areas outside of a 12 mile distance for our location, then travel time applies both ways.
All picture hangings have a one-hour minimum charge.
Above
rates include all hanging hardware (with the exception security hangers
and security keys which have separate charges) and the use of a 6, 8
or 14 ft ladder. Any additional equipment that may be required will
necessitate a separate bid. All bids in and around town are free. Our
hourly rate applies to all bids outside of town. We do not accept jobs that require ladders taller than our 14 foot extension ladder.
We
have been picture hanging since opening our doors, back in January 1985.
Our picture hanging experience includes professional offices, both private
and government related, and private homes. We have hung mirrors, art
objects of all kinds and sizes, corporate emblems and more. We can recommend
where and how to hang, follow any and all instructions, or take charge
completely and do it all for you.
Informal Appraisals
After
receiving multiple requests for this type of service, Artworks is glad
to offer to our customers informal art appraisals. We research the history
of your art and determine what the current market value might be. We
provide you a written summary of what we find on our letterhead signed
and dated. Many customers have utilized this service for insurance purposes
or simply to determine a current market price when they wish to sell.
Art Consulting
This
service assists our customer with art selection for their home or office.
At no additional charge, we will visit your home or office to discuss
your art needs and make recommendations to fit those needs. We have
catalogs that include poster images with every possible subject matter
or theme you may require. We will research and find original wall art
or 3D art that we feel may also be appropriate. Our catalogs may be
viewed in the gallery or checked out and viewed at your convenience.
We will also make recommendations on framing, where art should be hung
or located and make arrangements to hang it (see picture hanging service).
Delivery and Pick-up
Artworks
Gallery provides pick-up or delivery of your art when size or volume
becomes an issue. We are glad to help! So, if you have art that needs
restoring, stretching, or framing, but you find it difficult or impossible
